Application of Regulations
\nThese regulations apply to the use of in-room safes by hotel guests.<\/p>\n
Nature of In-Room Safe Usage Agreement
\nThe nature of the in-room safe usage agreement is a specific room safe (hereinafter referred to as the “in-room safe”) designated by the hotel, rented for use by the guest (hereinafter referred to as the “user”). It does not imply any guarantee by the user regarding the storage of items they intend to store in the in-room safe. The hotel is not responsible for any damages to the stored items in the in-room safe.<\/p>\n
Usage Period
\nThe usage period of the in-room safe extends from the time the user applies for in-room safe usage after registering for accommodation until the time of check-out.<\/p>\n
Scope of Storage<\/p>\n
The in-room safe may be used to store the following:
\na) Cash
\nb) Stocks and other securities
\nc) Savings passbooks, contracts, and other important documents
\nd) Jewelry and other valuables
\ne) Items equivalent to those mentioned above
\nThe hotel reserves the right to refuse storage of items listed in the preceding paragraph if there is a valid reason.
\nDisclaimer
\nThe hotel is exempt from responsibility if the in-room safe is opened or closed by someone other than the customer registered as a hotel guest.<\/p>\n
Surrender<\/p>\n
If the user departs from the hotel without surrendering the in-room safe, the hotel may, in a manner deemed appropriate, open the in-room safe, separately manage the stored items, or consider the user to have abandoned ownership. The hotel may sell the items through any means or dispose of them if selling proves difficult. The user agrees not to raise any objections to these actions by the hotel.
\nThe costs incurred for the actions mentioned in the preceding paragraph (including the cost of having a notary public or other individuals present when opening the in-room safe) shall be borne by the user.
\nRepair of In-Room Safe
\nIn cases where the hotel requests the surrender or reassignment of the in-room safe due to necessary circumstances, the user must comply promptly.<\/p>\n
Emergency Measures
\nIn the event of a court order demanding the opening of the in-room safe or in emergency situations such as fire or potential harm to the hotel due to the stored items, the hotel may open the in-room safe in a manner deemed appropriate, taking the best and most suitable measures. The hotel is not liable for any damages incurred by the user due to these actions.<\/p>\n
Compensation for Damages<\/p>\n
The hotel is not responsible for damages arising from the inability to open the in-room safe due to reasons beyond the hotel’s control, such as fire, earthquake, or other non-negligent reasons.
